The DeWalt DW257 is very well balanced and light weight, has a comfortable pistol grip and delivers 132 in-lbs of torque. The tool easily drives 3” screws all the way in heavy lumber without the worry of stopping short. The maximum fastener size driven by the tool is #12. The large variable speed reversing trigger switch and the trigger lock location prevent unintentional locking of the trigger in the on position while using the Deck/Drywall Screwdriver.

Featuring 6.2 Amp motor the heavy-duty screwdriver functions at 0 to 2500 RPM. This makes it a very versatile tool that can handle a wide range of applications like building decks, sub-flooring, installing of ceilings, paneling or partitions, exterior construction, installation of galvanized iron sheet or corrugated sheet roofing, drywall and other fastening tasks. The helical-cut steel, heat-treated gears ensure durability of this heavy-duty tool. The DeWalt DW257 has a metal tipped adjustment collar that locks securely to the clutch housing and never accidentally pops off while using the tool.
